So, the kids and life kept me pretty busy this week. STILL working on my math class so there was lots of studying (UGH!), there was also lots of kids! Our weather has been a bit crazy lately, so I feel like I never know what to expect! Been keeping us on our toes with snow days, and frozen days, then days like today where its like 80! Weather gods, kindly make up your minds! You are destroying our schedule! Luckily, Ms. J had school yesterday and it gave me some time to really focus on homework, cuz I’ve got another test on Monday and I’m praying to GOD that I do well. As you now know I JAZZERCISE, (yes, that’s right JAZZERCISE) and I’m starting the process to TRY and become an instructor TOMORROW! (Tomorrow people, I’m a BIT nervous!) I have to go to a class about an hour away to have a “movement screening”. They’re going to make sure I’ve got what it takes! ;)) I hope that doesn’t mean I’m gonna fall on my face! I left the kiddos with Mimzy to sleep over tonight, (cuz I have to get up kinda early tomorrow for the Jazzercise thing) and Ms. J cried her little eyeballs out! We’ve been two little peas in a pod lately, so she didn’t want me to leave. BROKE MY HEART!! Seriously guys, it was gut wrenching…but hubby and I might get a little date out of it so I’m thrilled about that! On another note, I do a little bit of photography every now and then and next week I get to do a newborn session for a Mom that I did Maternity photos for last month. I’m excited to meet this little guy, and his Mom was so cute preggo! (SEE??)
So, as you can see this week will keep me pretty busy too! Love it though, I thought not having a normal (9-5) job would get boring…but I’m enjoying the time to do what I WANT to do with my life. It feels good! Oh! And here are my photo project week 4 photos! I haven’t forgotten…I can’t wait to look at these NEXT year and see how much my kidlets have grown! (And yes, I have a filtering addiction…WHAT?!?!)

Well…I do it almost everyday, except it’s more like this now…
And I gotta tell you, it’s the most fun I’ve had with a work out in my entire LIFE! I found Jazzercise about 3 years ago, 2 years after my first was born. I was feeling bored in the new town that I had moved to, and wanted to find a workout that I could do that I would actually enjoy. About 3 or 4 months into it I got pregnant with my Son and decided to stop.
Well, a year and a half after my Son was born I was in a really unhappy place. I hated the way I looked, I cried when I looked in the mirror…I hated the way I felt and I just needed to do SOMETHING! So I recalled Jazzercise and decided to give it another go! Jazzercise changed me…I might even say it saved my life. I swear to you, I found myself again. It lit the fire under my a** that I’d been needing. Before I knew it my confidence was up, I felt better, and I looked better. I started really having fun with it, and I began to look forward to going every single day. Shaking my booty and feeling like I accomplished something every day made me a happier and healthier person. I’ve been going 3-5 times a week ever since and I’m so happy that I haven’t given it up with pregnancy #3.
About a month (or two) into me attending classes almost everyday, my instructor told me I should think about becoming a Jazzercise instructor and…I’ve decided to do it! It’s not like I’m gonna make a killing teaching a Jazzercise class, but it helped me SO MUCH that I would feel blessed to help other women rediscover fitness, and in a fun way. I know, I know…the word Jazzercise inspires visions of Olivia Newton John and “Let’s get physical…” but you’d be amazed at what an hour a day of dancing around like a fool can do for your soul! (And your body!) So if you’re looking for a workout routine, or maybe you have one but you’d like to try something new GO TRY A JAZZERCISE CLASS!! It’s not cheesy, and it is NOT easy! (Kill me now! ;]]) My instructor mops the floor with me every single work out! I’m almost positive there’s a center near you…You WILL NOT regret it!

We don’t get a lot of snow in Texas…so when my daughter heard of snow last night, she could barely sleep from all the excitement! The first thing she said this morning was “Did it snow?!?!?!” Well…it did…BARELY and by the time we got outside it was more ice then snow so she was a little bummed she couldn’t really play in it. However…it made for a cute photo!
I have a feeling we’ll be hearing a LOT about Elsa (from Frozen) today! Happy Friday!
The husband and I have made a pact: No fast food or restaurants for 1 week. This may seem like an easy feat, however we find ourselves “grabbing” something to eat a few times a week. However, with us becoming a single income family and a little bug on the way…we need to save money and our waistlines will be happier I’m sure!
In order to try and make this goal come to fruition, I sat down last night with a pen, paper, and Pinterest and made a meal plan! I LOVE Pinterest, for many things…but mostly for the recipes! There are a TON of them, and most are very easy and don’t need many weird ingredients. Anywho, here’s our meal plan this week…maybe you’d like to try a few of these for yourself!
Wednesday: Yogurt Chicken
Thursday: Pork Ribs
Crock Pot Baked Beans
Corn on the Cob
Saturday: Rotisserie Chicken (We have a mini countertop Rotisserie, and it ROCKS!)
Baked Beans (left over from two nights before!)
Sunday: Mexican Shredded Beef Tacos
Monday: Thai Pork w/Peanut Sauce
I’m going grocery shopping today, so I’m hoping that I can stay within my budget. I’m normally NO good at grocery budgets and shopping lists so I really have NO idea how my bill will turn out…but one goal at a time right?? And these yummy dinners (with LOTS of leftovers) will surely keep us away from that fast food counter!
